Review: Marley’s Mellow Mood

Let’s Stir It Up! (Shameless Marley song plug pun).
My co-worker Jean always drinks this stuff. So naturally I had to try it, being a fan of anything Marley. This is a relaxation drink. Far from those hyper energy drinks (I’m looking at you Monster). It claims to relieves stress and tension all the while putting you in an Irie mood. Its reggae in a bottle, mon.
I swear to Jah this tranquil liquid is as smooth as the basslines that Bob used to serenade along with. I tried the green tea with honey first. Just like any other flavoured teas but it had a hint of something extra. I don’t know what it is, almost like a ripe pear fruit. None the less, it added to the taste and it doesn’t bite the tastebuds. After I downed the whole bottle my mood was altered. Maybe partly after working 9 hours, partly that I haven’t had lunch and partly that I drank this whole relaxer I felt hella tired.
For the calorie counters and vitamin heads. I recommend what the Recommended Usage suggests. Do not mix with alcohol. Made in the USA!
Normally I don’t buy into the Marley hype. Mainly because people aren’t about the message and just want to make a buck from a legend. This is different, it supports his cause www.1love.org. A company that helps support leading causes from around the world. This is not a faceless company that slapped Marley’s face and distributes merchandise that hocks a musical genius. Its a tribute to a man who (still continues to this day) puts people into good vibes. Through music and now through this drink.
Diverse music, diverse flavours. Marley’s Mellow Mood comes in teas, mixes and carbonated drinks.
Carbonated citrus drink. Really spritey and bubbly.
You know I’m a sucker for anything Lemonade!!
You can purchase this in any convenience store (for now) and costs way less than those energy drinks. Be careful though as it happened to me, it will make you crash harder than an asian chick learning how to drive. (shut up its funny).
